Specifications

The loudspeaker shall be of the passive subwoofer type, consisting of two 15″ (381 mm) LF drivers. Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall meet or exceed the following: frequency response, measured with swept sine wave input, shall be flat within ±3 dB from 40 Hz to 115 Hz and within -10 dB from 35 Hz to 150 Hz. Nominal dispersion shall be “half space.” Maximum amplifier output power shall be 4,000 Watts peak, Peak level at 1 m under half space conditions using  IEC 268-5 pink noise with crest factor 4, with dedicated pre-set, shall be 143 dB. Dimensions: 530 mm high x 810 mm wide x 798 mm deep (20.9 x 31.9 x 31.4”). Net weight: 83 kg (183 lbs). The loudspeaker system shall be the TURBOSOUND MS215. No other loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory verifies that the above combined performance / size specifications are equalled or exceeded.
